In Italy the “agriturismo” (farm holiday) has born as a type of accommodation by the farmers, who were usual to host people coming from the city for free. Guests were sacred and farmers did not ask for an help in their daily activities: so, a stay at the agriturismo were a real holiday, during which everyone could have a banquet with all the family that was usual to prepare a lot of cooking specialities.

The needing to “escape” from the daily routine has came back in these last years and also the wish to enjoy a simple way of life.
